This is looking out over barcelona from the top of the castle, Look how huge the Temple de la Sagrada Familia is!

The Sagrada Familia was an Amazing Temple, it started in 1882 and is still under construction, it won't be finished until 2020....Its breathtaking!

We waited in line for 1 1/2 hours to get on the elevator to go to the top, and this was the staircase we got to go down!!! It was unreal!! Very narrow and very high!!!

The Market at Las Ramblas was so amazing!! Everything is so fresh and the displays were beautiful!

TOURING MADRID

Things turned pretty cold while we were there! but we managed to all bundle up! What great times we had though!

Madrid had entertainers all over on the streets, these guys sounded like a professional symphony! they were so amazing! fun to watch and listen to!

The Architecture in this town was absolutly amazing! Unbelievable Buildings!

It was very interesting in a ton of the restaurants had these slabs of ham legs hanging from there ceilings! its a staple in Spain!

Here we are with Rosemary and Joel, they flew in to Madrid and we toured around with them for a couple of days!

This is in the Cathedral next to the Palicio Real, it was so beautiful with all of the stained glass and beautiful Architecture! Funny thing about this picture with Melony...we were sitting in the pew looking at everything.....and we flipped the kneeling bench up....well it was a huge BANG! when we did it ..needless to say it wa echoing throughout the halls of the cathedral...might be why we look a little sheepish in this picture!

This is the the Palicio Real, its mainly used for Important events, not as a residence the interior was very impressive!

Last Day with Mel and Todd in Toledo Spain

This was such a fun day trip! We rode the Bullet train to Toledo (Bry was VERY excited) It was a very smooth ride! It was also my very first train ride!

This was the inside of the train station in Toledo, talk about nice! its like inside a church!

Toledo is famous for there Marzipan, and this was a candy store full of it!! Yummmm! Todd's a little excited about it!

They had some cool Armor in the town! Bry loved it!

A NEW POST IS COMING!

We arrived safe and sound from our trip to Spain and Italy! and we are getting our 657 pictures organized so I can post a brief summary of our Wonderfully Exausting trip! So stay tuned it will be updated this weekend! Bry and I are still trying to recover from the 9 hour time difference!!!

Fall Visit from Elisha and Becca!

We were going non stop the whole weekend !! Here are some Pictures of all our travels!! We had such a wonderful time with ELisha and Rebecca! We look forward to there return with Tom this Christmas!!!

Grandma and Grandpa Hillstead came through to visit on there was to the Montana vs Eastern Wa. game (Ryan is attending Eatern, a little competition!) So Becca was sporting her Grizzly cheerleading outfit to support her Great Grandma and Grandpa! (Ry still loves her though!)

We took Ryan Elisha and Rebecca to Green Bluff for the big Harvest festival, Just shows ya you can have fun no matter what age you are! It was VERY cold that day...so it was short and sweet and we were totally stuffed from the Pumpkin Donuts, Fresh Apple Cider, Sliced Carmeled apples and Freshly baked Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Grandpa and Becca had some Bonding moments first thing in the morning she loved listening to Beethoven and read her new Halloween Book Gramma and Granpa go ther!

Rebecca Loved her Bath Time she got her Grandma and Mom all wet with her splashing!!She thought that was rather funny!

Actually my 2 friends were suppose to make goofy faces....and as you can tell I was the only one doing it...sheesh! We sent this picture to our other buddy because she couldn't go have lunch with us!.......can you tell we are in our 50's and 60's......NOPE!!! Oh well!!
